- 1 pinch Black crushed pepper
- 0.5 inch Ginger (Grated)

- 3Reduce the heat to a simmer and add the grated ginger. Allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes.
- 4Turn off the heat, strain the chai, and pour into serving teacups.
