A warm and spiced beverage perfect for rainy evenings, featuring a blend of ginger, cardamom, and mint.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Milk, 2% (Or Whole Milk)
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground cardamom
  • 1 pinch Black crushed pepper
  • 0.5 inch Ginger (Grated)
  • 0.5 handful Mint

Instructions

  1. 1In a milk pot, combine water, milk, ground cardamom, black crushed pepper, and mint. Exclude the ginger at this stage.
  2. 2Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat until the milk rises.
  3. 3Reduce the heat to a simmer and add the grated ginger. Allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. 4Turn off the heat, strain the chai, and pour into serving teacups.
