Chicken Macaroni Cake/Macaroni Pola

This is a spicy and delicious chicken cake made with macaroni, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 250 grams Chicken, boneless (Cut into small pieces)
  • 250 grams Macaroni
  • 2 units Onions, finely chopped
  • 2 units Green chillies, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons Red chilli powder
  • 0.5 tablespoon Kashmiri chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 handful Coriander leaves
  • 4 units Egg (Beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil (For frying chicken)
  • 2 cups Water (For boiling macaroni)

Instructions

  1. 1Rinse the macaroni thoroughly. In a pan, bring two cups of water to a boil with a pinch of salt. Add the macaroni and cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain the excess water and set aside.
  2. 2Cut the boneless chicken into small pieces. Mix with turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, and black pepper powder. Fry in vegetable oil until cooked through.
  3. 3In a pan, heat coconut oil. Add onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, and a pinch of salt. Sauté until onions are translucent. Stir in turmeric powder and garam masala, then remove from heat.
  4. 4In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add the cooked macaroni, fried chicken, and onion masala. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  5. 5Grease a cake pan with ghee. Pour the egg and macaroni mixture into the pan. Cover and cook on low-medium heat for 10-15 minutes until set.
  6. 6Remove the cake from heat and let it cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy with your loved ones.
