Chicken Pola/Chicken Cake

This is a chicken snack that you can enjoy with tea or coffee!

Ingredients

  • 250 grams Chicken, boneless (Boneless chicken is taken)
  • 4 units Eggs
  • 2 medium Onions, finely chopped (Medium sized and finely chopped)
  • 1 medium Tomatoes, finely chopped (Medium sized and finely chopped)
  • 2 medium Green chillies, finely chopped (Medium sized and finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (Salt is added as per your taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes
  • 0.5 unit Capsicum (Capsicum is for garnishing)
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Ghee
  • 0.5 handful Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. 1In a pan, add the boneless chicken, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the chicken is thoroughly cooked. Allow it to cool, then crush the chicken using a mixer grinder. Set aside.
  2. 2In a pan over medium heat, add vegetable oil, onions, tomatoes, green chillies, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, and coriander leaves. Sauté until the onions are soft and transparent. The onion masala is ready.
  3. 3In a bowl, beat 4 eggs. Add the crushed chicken and onion masala to the eggs. Mix thoroughly, ensuring the salt is to taste. Adjust if necessary.
  4. 4In a pan, spread some ghee and transfer the mixture into it. Spread evenly like a cake. Sprinkle chili flakes over the top. Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 15 minutes. Garnish with capsicum or as desired.
