Tulasi Kashaya/ Decoction/ Tea
A soothing decoction of Tulasi, ginger, and turmeric, traditionally used as a remedy for cough and cold.
Ingredients
- 10 leaves Tulsi leaves
- 1 inch Ginger, finely chopped (Finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Jaggery
- 1 pinch Turmeric powder
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 2 cups Water
Instructions
- 1In a vessel, combine water, Tulsi leaves, ginger, and turmeric powder. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 2Continue boiling for 5 minutes. Add 1 cup of milk to the decoction and stir well. The Tulsi kashaya is now ready to serve.
