Maas Sukka
Spicy beef dry with lots of fennel and curry leaves.
Ingredients
- 500 gms Beef (Cut into small pieces.)
- 2 tsp Black peppercorns
- 4 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 4 sprig Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 2 tsp Garam masala
- 4 tbsp Vinegar (Masala should be ground using this only. No water to be used.)
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 2.5 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1 unit Onions (Finely chopped)

Instructions
- 1Grind all the ingredients listed under the masala section using vinegar only. Ensure no water is added during grinding.
- 2In a pressure cooker, heat a small amount of oil and add half of the prepared masala. Add the beef pieces and cook under pressure for about 20 minutes until the beef is tender.
- 3In a separate vessel or kadaai, heat coconut oil and add curry leaves. Add the remaining half of the masala and cook thoroughly. Once the beef is cooked and tender, add it to this mixture and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- 4Your Maas Sukka is ready to be served. It is best enjoyed with boiled rice, plain rice, or patri.
