Rava Laddu

Ingredients
- 2 cups Rava (Semolina) (Use fine rava, not coarse rava)
- 1.75 cups Sugar
- 0.75 cups Ghee (Liquid ghee)
- 0.5 unit/count Coconut, grated (1/2 of a whole coconut)
- 0.75 cups Water
- 0 optional Cashews (Fried in ghee, optional)
- 0 optional Raisins (Fried in ghee, optional)

Instructions
- 1In a pan, heat the ghee over medium heat. Add the rava and fry until it is aromatic and lightly golden. Add the grated coconut and continue to fry for an additional 2 minutes.
- 2In a separate pot, dissolve the sugar in water and bring to a boil. Continue boiling until the syrup reaches a thin string consistency, known as 'ek taari paak'. Remove from heat.
- 3Add the fried rava and coconut mixture into the sugar syrup. Mix thoroughly and allow it to cool.
- 4Once the mixture has cooled completely, mix well and shape into medium-sized balls. You can make approximately 15-20 laddus, depending on the size. Optionally, add cashews and raisins fried in ghee for additional flavor.
