Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1Make dough as directed for Butterbarches, using one-quarter cup of raisins and omitting the lemon and egg.
  2. 2Form dough into loaves. Fill well-greased pans half full; cover and let rise until light, about one hour.
  3. 3Glaze with egg diluted with water, and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes.
