PEACH CREAM PIE
This classic Peach Cream Pie offers a delightful combination of textures and flavors, perfect for a summer treat. The flaky pie crust cradles a layer of sweet, grated peaches infused with a hint of almond from the peach kernels, all topped with a cloud of sweetened whipped cream. Ingredients
- 1 pie Pie crust (Use a pre-made pie crust or your favorite recipe.)
- 4 cups Peaches (Fresh peaches, peeled and grated.)
- 1/4 cup Peach kernels (Pounded peach kernels, optional, for almond flavor.)
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar (For sweetening the cream and peaches, adjust to taste.)
Instructions
- 1Line a pie plate with a prepared pie crust. Bake the crust according to the recipe instructions or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
- 2Grate the peeled peaches. If using, pound the peach kernels to a fine consistency and add them to the grated peaches. Sweeten the peaches with sugar to taste.
- 3In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Sweeten the cream with sugar to taste.
- 4Spread the sweetened grated peaches evenly over the baked pie crust. Top with the whipped cream, spreading it smoothly over the peaches. Refrigerate the pie in the ice-chest (refrigerator) until ready to serve.
