Ingredients

  • 1 pie Pie crust (Use a pre-made pie crust or your favorite recipe.)
  • 4 cups Peaches (Fresh peaches, peeled and grated.)
  • 1/4 cup Peach kernels (Pounded peach kernels, optional, for almond flavor.)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar (For sweetening the cream and peaches, adjust to taste.)

Instructions

  1. 1Line a pie plate with a prepared pie crust. Bake the crust according to the recipe instructions or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
  2. 2Grate the peeled peaches. If using, pound the peach kernels to a fine consistency and add them to the grated peaches. Sweeten the peaches with sugar to taste.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Sweeten the cream with sugar to taste.
  4. 4Spread the sweetened grated peaches evenly over the baked pie crust. Top with the whipped cream, spreading it smoothly over the peaches. Refrigerate the pie in the ice-chest (refrigerator) until ready to serve.
