Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 6 ounces Bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Milk

  • 2 each Egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 each Egg whites

Instructions

  1. 1In a mixing bowl, combine the honey, bread crumbs, milk, ginger, lemon zest, and egg yolks. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  2. 2Add the butter to the mixture and stir. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the honey mixture.
  3. 3Pour the mixture into a pudding mold, filling it no more than three-quarters full. Steam the pudding for approximately two hours, or until set.
