Sardines on Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup Chicken or vegetable stock
  • 1/2 cup Dry sherry
  • 3/4 cup Canned sardines, boneless and skinless

Instructions

  1. 1Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and paprika, and stir constantly until smooth and lightly browned, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3Gently stir in the sardines. Heat through until very hot, about 3 minutes. Do not boil.
