Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 1Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Use a fork to press the butter into a ball and rub it over the bottom of the hot pan.
  2. 2Arrange small rounds of toast on the buttered surface. Place one or two uncooked oysters on each toast round. Cover the pan (with a lid or foil) and cook until the oysters are plump, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3Put a small bit of butter on each oyster. Serve immediately, when the butter has melted, with slices of lemon.
