- 1Cut the beef (rump or sirloin) into small slices. Slice a little raw ham.
- 2In a frying pan, melt some butter. Add the beef and ham slices, along with a small quantity of chopped onions. Simmer together over medium heat or in the oven for a short time.
- 3Add a little flour to the pan and stir. Gradually add enough beef stock to make a sauce. Season with salt, pepper, chopped parsley, and a little Worcestershire sauce.
- 4Add a few sliced potatoes to the pan and cook together for about 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- 5Transfer the mixture into a pie dish. Top with a few slices of hard-boiled eggs. Cover with a layer of common paste (pie crust). Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
