Baked Marble Pudding

Ingredients
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 each Egg
- 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1/2 square Semi-sweet chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 3 drops Lemon extract
Instructions
- 1In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- 2In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, egg yolk, water, and vanilla extract. Beat for 1 minute.
- 3In a separate bowl, beat the egg white until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the beaten egg white into the wet ingredients. Add the melted butter and mix well.
- 4Divide the batter in half. Add the melted chocolate to one half and mix well.
- 5Prepare a loaf-cake pan or a small round tin with waxed paper. Fill it with both mixtures, alternating a tablespoon of the plain mixture, then a tablespoon of the chocolate mixture, until all is used, creating a marbled appearance. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
- 6In a bowl, beat the heavy cream until thick. Add the sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon extract. Place in a cool place until used.
