Baked Eggs (Two portions)
These simple baked eggs offer a comforting and satisfying breakfast with a rich, buttery flavor. The eggs are gently baked in individual molds, creating a tender and creamy texture, enhanced by the addition of milk and breadcrumbs. Ingredients
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Whole milk
- 2 tablespoons Soft bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Paprika
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter two individual oven-safe ramekins or small molds.
- 2Carefully break an egg into each prepared mold.
- 3In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, salt, and paprika.
- 4Pour half of the milk mixture over each egg. Melt the butter in a small pan, add the bread crumbs, and stir to combine. Sprinkle the buttered breadcrumbs on top of each egg. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the whites are set and the yolks are still slightly runny.
