Step 1
Soak tamarind in little water. After few minutes Squeeze well and add to it cut tomatoes into two halves. Smash it well and remove the outer skin.
Step 2
Take a kadai n add oil. When it gets heated add hing, fenugreek seeds, mustard n dry broken red chillies. Also add curry leaves
Step 3
Saute well n add crushed green chillies, ginger, curry leaves n garlic flakes. Crush the above together. Saute for few seconds.
Step 4
Then add the squeezed tamarind n tomato extract. Add 1 cup of water. Add to it turmeric, chilli powder n salt. Also add jaggery. Add crushed cumin seeds n pepper. Mix well n add one more cup of water. Boil for 5 mins. After 5 mins add coriander leaves n let it boil for 3 mins.serve it hot with potato fry n rice.
