Kaayippola/Sweet Banana

  • 2 units Banana (Choose ripe bananas)
  • 4 units Egg
  • 6 tablespoons Sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 3 tablespoons Ghee (Divided use)
  • 5 units Cashew nut
  • 5 units Raisins

Instructions

  1. 1Slice the ripe bananas. Heat a pan over medium flame and add two tablespoons of ghee. Add the banana slices and sauté until they are well cooked. Set aside.
  2. 2In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the sugar until well combined. Add the sautéed bananas to the egg and sugar mixture.
  3. 3Heat a pan over medium flame and add one tablespoon of ghee. Pour the banana and egg mixture into the pan. Sprinkle the cashew nuts and raisins over the top. Cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes until set.
  4. 4Once cooked, remove from heat and serve the kaayippola warm.
