Fruit Delight Dessert

A very sweet and mouthwatering dessert from Kerala, featuring a delightful mix of fruits and creamy custard.

Ingredients

  • 2 units Apple
  • 1 unit Pomegranate
  • 4 units Small banana
  • 1 cup Mango pulp
  • 50 grams Cashews
  • 50 grams Raisins
  • 3 tablespoons Custard powder
  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Condensed milk
  • 100 grams Badam
  • 5 tablespoons Strawberry syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Honey

Instructions

  1. 1In a pan, combine 2 cups of whole milk, 3 tablespoons of custard powder, 0.5 cup of condensed milk, and 0.5 cup of sugar. Cook over low-medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens into a creamy custard. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  2. 2In a mixing bowl, combine chopped apples, bananas, pomegranate seeds, and mango pulp. Add 2 teaspoons of honey and mix thoroughly.
  3. 3Transfer the prepared fruit mixture into the cooled custard. Stir gently to combine.
  4. 4Add cashews and raisins to the mixture. Garnish with strawberry syrup and additional dry fruits of your choice. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours before serving.
