Ingredients
- 10 units Split urad dal (Add approximately 10 pieces of urad dal)
- 2 units Dry red chillies
- 0.125 teaspoon Turmeric (Add only a pinch of turmeric powder.)
- 4 units Tomatoes (Cut the tomatoes into small pieces)
- 1.5 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 1.25 teaspoons Mustard seeds (Fry mustard seeds in oil)
- 4 teaspoons Oil (For frying)
- 0 to taste Salt (Add to taste)

Instructions
- 1In a kadai, heat 4 teaspoons of oil over medium heat. Add mustard seeds, split urad dal, and dry red chillies. Fry until the mustard seeds begin to crackle and the urad dal turns golden brown. Add a pinch of turmeric powder and stir well.
- 2Add the diced tomatoes and salt to the kadai. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.
- 3Mash the cooked tomato mixture into a paste using a spoon or masher. Add 1.5 teaspoons of red chilli powder and mix thoroughly to combine.
