An absolute favourite drink of summer. Grated cucumber in a sweetened milk.

Ingredients

  • 2 units Cucumber (You can use cucumbers if Mangalore cucumber is not available.)
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 100 grams Sugar (As per the need.)
  • 2 teaspoons Rooh Afza (Optional, for a different twist and flavour.)

Instructions

  1. 1Grate the cucumber using a grater. You may choose to peel the cucumber before grating or leave the peel on, according to your preference.
  2. 2In a mixing bowl, combine the water and whole milk. Stir well to ensure they are thoroughly mixed.
  3. 3Add sugar to the milk and water mixture. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. 4Add the grated cucumber to the sweetened milk and water mixture. Stir well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  5. 5For an additional twist, you may add 1 or 2 teaspoons of Rooh Afza to the drink. Stir well to incorporate the flavor.
  6. 6The drink is now ready to be served. Pour into glasses and enjoy chilled.
