Beetroot Paratha
Beetroot is an extremely healthy food item yet we rarely consume it. Today am going to share with you my recipe for beetroot paratha and trust me, you will become a fan of beetroot after eating it.
Ingredients
- 1 unit Beetroot
- 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Curd
- 0.5 teaspoon Black cumin (kalonji or fennel flower)
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 0 as needed Water (For kneading the dough)

Instructions
- 1Using a peeler, remove the outer layer of the beetroot. Grate the beetroot finely.
- 2In a large bowl, combine the grated beetroot, wheat flour, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, salt, Kashmiri chili powder, garam masala, curd, and black cumin. Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough.
- 3Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a flat paratha using a rolling pin.
- 4Heat a tawa over medium heat. Place a rolled paratha on the tawa and cook for 1 minute. Flip and cook the other side for another minute until both sides are golden brown.
- 5Serve the hot parathas with pickle or chutney.
