Mint Beer
A refreshing Victorian-era beverage combining beer, sparkling lemonade, and fresh mint, served ice-cold. This drink is perfect for warm weather and offers a unique blend of herbal, citrus, and malty flavors.
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup Fresh mint leaves, bruised (Freshly gathered, bruised to release oils)
- 12 oz Beer, well chilled (Use a light lager or pale ale)
- 10 oz Sparkling lemonade, well chilled (Can substitute with lemon-lime soda or homemade sparkling lemonade)
- 0.25 lb Crushed ice (About 1 cup; only needed if beer and lemonade are not pre-chilled)

Instructions
- 1Take fresh mint leaves and bruise them gently by pressing with the back of a spoon or muddling lightly to release their essential oils. Place the bruised mint leaves into a large tankard or pitcher.
- 2Pour the well-chilled beer over the mint leaves in the tankard. Add the well-chilled sparkling lemonade. If the beer and lemonade were not pre-chilled, stir in the crushed ice at this point.
- 3Stir gently to combine and allow the mint to infuse for a moment. Serve immediately in chilled glasses, straining out the mint leaves if desired, or leave them in for a stronger mint flavor.
