Perfect for coffee purists who enjoy a bold cup, it is traditionally served mixed with hot milk and sugar for a creamy, indulgent morning treat.
Instructions
- 1Heat the filtered water to approximately 200°F (93°C). Do not boil. Use Water, 2, 4.
- 2Grind the coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency. Place the coffee grounds in the French press or percolator.
- 3Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds, ensuring all grounds are saturated. For a French press, let it steep for 4 minutes. For a percolator, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- 4For a French press, gently press the plunger down to separate the grounds from the coffee. Pour and serve immediately. For a percolator, remove from heat and serve.
