Shrimp Salad

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup French dressing (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
- 1 head Lettuce (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
- 1/4 cup Celery (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))

- 2 tablespoons Capers (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
- 2 tablespoons Olives (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
- 2 large Eggs (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
Instructions
- 1Peel and devein the shrimp. Reserve some of the most perfect shrimp for garnishing. Chop the remaining shrimp into pieces. Marinate the chopped shrimp with French dressing.
- 2When ready to serve, drain the shrimp. Mix the shrimp with shredded lettuce or finely cut celery and mayonnaise. Shape the mixture into a mound on a bed of lettuce leaves and mask with mayonnaise.
- 3Use finely chopped capers or olives to create five or six designs on the mound. Fill the designs with shrimp and the rest of the mound with capers, sifted yolks, or chopped whites of cooked eggs; or fill the designs with capers or eggs and the rest of the mound with shrimp. Finish with a tuft of lettuce at the top.
