Ingredients

  • 12 oysters Oysters
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))

  • 1 cup Fine breadcrumbs (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))

Instructions

  1. 1Wash and drain the oysters. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. 2Roll the seasoned oysters in fine breadcrumbs, then dip them in beaten egg, and roll in breadcrumbs again.
  3. 3Put olive oil or clarified butter in a skillet over medium heat. When heated, add the breaded oysters and brown them on one side for about 2-3 minutes, then turn and brown on the other side for another 2-3 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
