Orange-and-Walnut Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 medium Oranges
  • 1/2 cup English walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Instructions

  1. 1Select fine oranges. Remove the peel and any white skin. Slice the oranges very thin lengthwise.
  2. 2Slice the English walnuts, blanched or plain.
  3. 3To the orange slices, add the sliced walnuts. Dress with olive oil, salt, and lemon juice (if the oranges are particularly sweet). Serve on a bed of watercress or lettuce.
