Webster Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter
- 3 cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 5 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Royal Baking Powder
- 2 cups Raisins, seeded
- 1 teaspoon Royal Extract Bitter Almonds
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1.5 cups Milk
Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, rub the butter, sugar, and eggs together until smooth.
- 2Add the flour (sifted with the Royal Baking Powder), raisins, milk, Royal Extract Bitter Almonds, and Vanilla Extract to the butter mixture. Mix until you have a medium batter.
- 3Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Pour batter into a cake mould and bake in a quick, steady oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
