Brandy Sauce

A sauce made by substituting brandy for wine in the Wine Sauce No. 2 recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Brandy
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions

  1. 1In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sugar and water. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  2. 2Add the brandy to the saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
