- 1If using canned artichoke bottoms, drain them well. If using fresh, cook them until tender. You can steam, boil, or bake them.
- 2In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Be careful not to brown it. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
