Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ham slice
  • 14 cloves Whole cloves
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup White vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. 1Remove the rind from the ham slice. Stick the cloves into both sides of the ham. This will take about 10 minutes.
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix together the water, vinegar, sugar, and mustard until well combined.
  3. 3Place the prepared ham in a baking pan just large enough to hold it. Pour the vinegar mixture over the ham. Baste the ham frequently during baking. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 45 minutes, or until the ham is crisp and tender.
