Banana Bread
A perfect Tea Time Snack.
Ingredients
- 2 cups All purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 cup Oil
- 0.125 cup Plain yogurt
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 units Eggs
- 0.75 cup Walnuts (Chopped)
- 3 units Bananas (Large, ripe and mashed)
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a loaf pan with nonstick spray and set aside. In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- 2In a separate bowl, mix together the oil and sugar using a spatula until smooth and free of lumps.
- 3Add the eggs to the oil and sugar mixture, mixing until fully incorporated. Mash the ripe bananas and add them to the mixture, whisking thoroughly.
- 4Add the plain yogurt to the banana mixture and mix well. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined and no flour pockets remain. Avoid overmixing.
- 5Gently fold in the chopped walnuts. Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- 6Bake the bread in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 7Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
