Ingredients
- 8 units Strawberries (Chopped)
- 1 unit Banana (Chopped)
- 1 tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Milk, 2%
- 1 cup Steel Cut Oats
- 2 tsp Honey
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tbsp Almonds (Sliced or chopped)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
- 1In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of water. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- 2Add 1 cup of steel-cut oats and a pinch of salt to the boiling liquid. Reduce the heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oats reach the desired consistency.
- 3Once cooked, divide the oatmeal evenly into two serving bowls.
- 4Top each bowl with chopped strawberries, chopped bananas, sliced or chopped almonds, and a dollop of peanut butter.
- 5Sprinkle cinnamon powder over the oatmeal and drizzle with honey before serving.
