- 4 units Capsicum, chopped (Chop into small pieces.)
- 4 units Green chillies, slit
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1.5 tablespoons Red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon Split urad dal
- 1 tablespoon Chana dal
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 unit Onions, slit lengthwise (Slit lengthwise.)
- 1 to taste Salt
- 4 cups Cooked rice

- 1Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and allow them to splutter. Then add slit green chillies, split urad dal, and chana dal. Sauté until the dals are golden brown, ensuring they do not burn.
- 2Add the sliced onions to the pan and sauté until they become translucent. Add a pinch of salt to expedite the process.
- 3Add the chopped capsicum, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder to the pan. Cook until the capsicum is soft and the raw smell disappears.
- 4Add salt as needed. Mix the cooked capsicum mixture with the cooked rice until well combined and the rice is evenly coated with the spices.
