Groundnuts and Roasted Bengal Gram Balls
This is a healthy and yummy snack for children.
Ingredients
- 100 gms Roasted Bengal Gram (Roasted Bengal Gram (Splited))
- 100 gms Groundnut
- 150 gms Ghee (150 gms or 100 ml)
- 200 gms Sugar
- 2 unit/count Green Cardamom Pods
Instructions
- 1Roast the Roasted Bengal Gram for 3 minutes and allow it to cool. Then, roast the groundnuts for 5-7 minutes and let them cool.
- 2Remove the skin from the groundnuts. Grind the groundnuts and Roasted Bengal Gram into a fine powder using a mixer grinder. Transfer the mixture into a bowl.
- 3Grind the sugar and cardamom pods into a fine powder. Add this mixture to the groundnut and Roasted Bengal Gram powder. Stir well to combine.
- 4Heat the ghee over low flame. Gradually add the ghee to the mixture, stirring continuously, and form into balls. Avoid adding all the ghee at once to prevent the mixture from drying out.
- 5Add two teaspoons of ghee at a time, stirring and forming balls, until the mixture is used up. This method ensures the balls hold together properly.
