Special Papadam Varavu
Papad or Apla is used in every kitchen. For sadhya it is very mandatory.
Ingredients
- 6 units Papadam
- 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- 0.5 cup Sunflower oil
Instructions
- 1Using a pair of scissors, cut the papadam into strips. Heat sunflower oil in a clay cooking pot over medium heat. Fry the papadam strips until they are crisp and golden. Remove and set aside.
- 2In another pan, heat 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil. Add curry leaves and Kashmiri chili powder. Sauté briefly until fragrant, then add the fried papadam. Stir gently to coat the papadam with the seasoning.
