Chicken Tikka Sandwich
A delicious and healthier version of the classic Chicken Tikka, transformed into a sandwich. You can use white, brown, or multigrain bread to suit your preference.
Ingredients
- 100 grams Chicken, boneless (Desired quantity)
- 30 grams Plain yogurt
- 4 slices White bread (You can use any bread of your choice)
- 0.5 cup Carrot, chopped
- 0.5 cup Capsicum, chopped
- 0.5 cup Onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Tikka masala
- 10 grams Mozzarella cheese (Can use processed cheese)
- 1 teaspoon Mustard oil
- 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons Oil (For frying)

Instructions
- 1In a bowl, combine the yogurt, red chilli powder, mustard oil, tikka masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
- 2Add the boneless chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
- 3Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the marinated chicken pieces until cooked through and golden brown on both sides.
- 4Add the chopped carrot, capsicum, and onions to the pan with the cooked chicken. Stir well and add any remaining marinade from the bowl. Season with additional salt if needed.
- 5Spread butter on one side of each bread slice and mayonnaise on the other. Place the chicken and vegetable mixture on the mayonnaise side, sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese, and top with another slice of bread.
- 6Grill the sandwich on a preheated grill or pan, buttered side down, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted. Serve hot.
