Step 1
Boil the milk on a stove top or Instant pot. (To boil it in the IP, add milk to the inner pot and set the boil option (on my instant pot pro, you hit the yogurt button and move the dial to change the pressure setting to "high", it shows "boil" on the screen). Keep the vent in venting position and click start. Once it's done (showed "END" on my IP) ) set the milk aside and let it cool to 110 to 115 degree Fahrenheit.
Add the yogurt active cultures to the milk and mix well.
Step 2
Add this warm mixture to the inner pot. Fill the outer pot with 2 cups water.
Step 3
Close the lid. Set to yogurt mode and keep it in venting.
Step 4
You should see the "YOGT" reading on the IP in the morning. Keep the yogurt in the refrigerator for a few hours and you are all set.
