FRUIT SALAD

Ingredients
- 1 piece Pineapple
- 3 pieces Oranges
- 3 pieces Bananas
- as needed French mayonnaise
- as needed Lettuce leaves
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- as needed Lemon juice
- 1 cup Claret
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 piece Lemon
Instructions
- 1Slice the pineapple, oranges, and bananas.
- 2If using mayonnaise, pour it over the sliced fruit. Arrange the fruit on lettuce leaves and serve immediately.
- 3If not using mayonnaise, make a syrup by boiling 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water until thickened. Add lemon juice to taste. Let it cool slightly.
- 4Pour the lemon syrup over the fruit (if using). Let the fruit salad stand on ice for 1 to 2 hours to chill.
- 5Another dressing option: Combine 1 cup of claret, 1/2 cup of sugar, and a piece of lemon. Always use lemon juice instead of vinegar in fruit salads.
