COMPOTE OF RASPBERRIES

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 quart Fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. 1In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. This should take about 5 minutes.
  2. 2Add the carefully picked and washed raspberries to the syrup. Bring the mixture to a boil once. Remove from heat.
  3. 3Serve the compote cold. It can be chilled in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for best results.
