COMPOTE OF RASPBERRIES
This refreshing compote of raspberries is a simple yet elegant dessert, perfect for a light and satisfying treat. Ingredients
- 1/2 pound Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 quart Fresh raspberries
Instructions
- 1In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. This should take about 5 minutes.
- 2Add the carefully picked and washed raspberries to the syrup. Bring the mixture to a boil once. Remove from heat.
- 3Serve the compote cold. It can be chilled in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving for best results.
