Grapefruit Salad
A refreshing and simple salad featuring grapefruit.
Ingredients
- 2 pieces Grapefruit
- 2 tablespoons French dressing (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
- 4 leaves Lettuce leaves (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
- 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise (Quantity estimated (not specified in original recipe))
Instructions
- 1Cut the chilled grapefruit in halves, crosswise. Use a spoon to remove the pulp from each half.
- 2Dress the grapefruit pulp with French dressing. Alternatively, use the juice of the grapefruit in place of other acid, or mayonnaise in place of French dressing.
- 3Serve the grapefruit salad on lettuce leaves, or return the pulp to the grapefruit skin. The edge of the grapefruit cup may be cut in Vandykes, or otherwise ornamented.
