Veal Cutlets

Ingredients
- 4 cutlets Veal cutlets
- as needed Black pepper
- as needed Salt
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Drawn butter
- 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
Instructions
- 1Flatten the veal cutlets to an even thickness using a meat mallet or the side of a hatchet. Season both sides with pepper and salt.
- 2In a shallow dish, beat the egg. Dip each cutlet in the egg, then dredge in cracker crumbs, ensuring both sides are coated.
- 3Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the cutlets, turning as they brown, until cooked through and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 4Dish the cutlets and pour the drawn butter, in which the tomato ketchup has been cooked, over them.
