Potatoes, Boiled

A simple recipe for boiling potatoes.

Ingredients

  • as needed Potatoes
  • as needed Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Pare the potatoes and throw them into cold water.
  2. 2Put the prepared potatoes into a saucepan, cover with cold water, and add a pinch of salt. Bring the water to a boil. For smaller potatoes, boil for 18-20 minutes after the water boils. For larger potatoes, boil for 30 minutes. Check several times by throwing in cold water, as slower they are boiled the better.
  3. 3When done, drain the water and sprinkle a little salt over the potatoes. Put the potatoes at the side of the fire to dry with the lid of the saucepan off. Serve quickly.
