- 3 parts Pickled articles
- as needed Vinegar
Instructions
- 1Use clean glass bottles for pickling. Ensure they are thoroughly washed and sterilized. Use wooden knives and forks for handling the articles to be pickled.
- 2Fill the bottles approximately 3 parts full with the articles to be pickled.
- 3Fill the bottles completely with vinegar, ensuring all the articles are submerged.
- 4If desired, boil the vinegar in a saucepan lined with earthenware or a stone pipkin before pouring it into the bottles. This step helps with preservation.
