- 1 ounce Cassia buds or cinnamon
- 1 pound White mustard seed

- 3After brining, put the vegetables in a large kettle. Add the scraped horseradish, turmeric, cloves, pepper, cassia buds or cinnamon, white mustard seed, and English mustard. Cover with cold vinegar. Boil for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
