Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, sift together the Graham flour, flour, sugar, salt, and Royal Baking Powder. Add the milk and mix until a smooth dough forms that can be handled.
- 2Lightly flour a clean work surface. Turn the dough out onto the floured surface and give it a quick, vigorous kneading to complete its smoothness. Divide the dough into four equal pieces. Shape each piece into a long loaf. Place the loaves just touching each other in a square, shallow cake pan.
- 3Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the loaves with milk. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and rub the tops with a little butter on a clean piece of linen.
