Eggs Poached
A simple recipe for poaching eggs.
Ingredients
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon White vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 slices Toast
Instructions
- 1Nearly fill a frying pan with boiling water. Add salt and vinegar.
- 2Break eggs one at a time into a wet saucer. Gently slip the eggs from the saucer onto the surface of the water. Cook slowly for 3 minutes.
- 3Take up the eggs with a slotted spoon or skimmer. Lay carefully upon buttered toast.
