Eggs Poached

A simple recipe for poaching eggs.

Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon White vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 slices Toast

Instructions

  1. 1Nearly fill a frying pan with boiling water. Add salt and vinegar.
  2. 2Break eggs one at a time into a wet saucer. Gently slip the eggs from the saucer onto the surface of the water. Cook slowly for 3 minutes.
  3. 3Take up the eggs with a slotted spoon or skimmer. Lay carefully upon buttered toast.
