Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- 2Add the eggs, two at a time, beating for 10 minutes between each addition until well combined.
- 3In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder.
- 4Add the dry ingredients and cinnamon extract to the butter mixture. Mix until a medium-thick batter forms.
- 5Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line small, shallow, square pans with thin white paper. Pour batter into the prepared pans and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- 6Once the cakes are taken from the oven, ice them as desired.
