A simple and comforting side dish of mashed parsnips, enhanced with butter and cream.
Ingredients
- 1 kg Parsnips
- 50 g Butter
- 0.5 tsp Salt (Or to taste)
- 0.25 tsp Black pepper (Or to taste)
- 60 ml Cream (Optional, for extra richness)
Instructions
- 1Wash, peel, and chop the parsnips into 1-inch pieces.
- 2Place the parsnips in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 60 minutes, or until very tender.
