Ingredients

  • 6 beets Beets
  • 2/3 cup White vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. 1Wash the medium-sized beets thoroughly.
  2. 2Cook the beets until tender in boiling water. This should take approximately 20-30 minutes.
  3. 3Drain the beets, cover with cold water, and slip off the skins. Slice the beets into one-fourth inch slices.
  4. 4Cover the sliced beets with vinegar and sugar. Allow to stand for two hours before using.
