Pickled Beets

Ingredients
- 6 beets Beets
- 2/3 cup White vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
Instructions
- 1Wash the medium-sized beets thoroughly.
- 2Cook the beets until tender in boiling water. This should take approximately 20-30 minutes.
- 3Drain the beets, cover with cold water, and slip off the skins. Slice the beets into one-fourth inch slices.
- 4Cover the sliced beets with vinegar and sugar. Allow to stand for two hours before using.
