Ingredients
- 1 square Unsweetened chocolate square
- 3 tablespoons Granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup Water
- 2 cups Milk
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 3 Marshmallows
Instructions
- 1In a saucepan, combine the chocolate, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until a thin custard forms. This should take about 5 minutes.
- 2Gradually add the milk to the chocolate mixture, stirring continuously. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil. This should take about 10 minutes.
- 3Remove from heat. Whip the hot chocolate with an egg beater to break up any albumin and prevent a coating from forming. Stir in the vanilla extract and marshmallows. Let stand for a moment.
