  • 12 large Large ripe tomatoes
  • 3 Green peppers
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 tablespoons Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups Vinegar

Instructions

  1. 1Peel the tomatoes and onions. Chop the tomatoes and onions separately into very fine pieces. Chop the green peppers.
  2. 2In a large pot, combine the chopped tomatoes, onions, and green peppers. Add the salt, sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
  3. 3Add the vinegar to the mixture. Cook over medium heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
  4. 4Once the chili sauce has cooled, bottle it. Seal the bottles with paraffin wax.
