Ingredients
- 12 large Large ripe tomatoes
- 3 Green peppers
- 2 Onions
- 2 tablespoons Salt
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
- 3 cups Vinegar
Instructions
- 1Peel the tomatoes and onions. Chop the tomatoes and onions separately into very fine pieces. Chop the green peppers.
- 2In a large pot, combine the chopped tomatoes, onions, and green peppers. Add the salt, sugar, and ground cinnamon. Mix well.
- 3Add the vinegar to the mixture. Cook over medium heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
- 4Once the chili sauce has cooled, bottle it. Seal the bottles with paraffin wax.
